Manuscript contributions are currently invited from faculty members, undergraduate students, postgraduate students, academicians, researchers, private institutions and industrial practices who would like to use MIJ to present and discuss their research. 

Types of Papers
The Journal accepts the following categories of papers:
a)Original research
b)Position papers/review papers
c)Short-papers (with well-defined ideas, but lacking research results or having preliminary results)
d)Technology or theory Discussion/Overview Papers

There is no submission dateline. However, a minimum of two months is required to complete the publication started from the submission date. Delay of publication may occurs until the editor satisfied with the final revisions.
Peer Review Process
All submitted papers are subjected to a comprehensive blind review process by at least 2 subject area experts, who judge the paper on its relevance, originality, clarity of presentation and significance. The review process is expected to take 8-12 weeks at the end of which the final review decision is communicated to the author. In case of rejection authors will get helpful comments to improve the paper for resubmission to other journals. The journal may accept revised papers as new papers which will go through a new review cycle.
General guidelines
Each manuscript should be no more than 16 pages in length inclusive of tables, figures, illustrations and references. The journal welcomes submissions written in either English or Bahasa Melayu. Please include Title, Abstract and Keywords in English if the paper is in Bahasa Melayu. General guidelines for the manuscript are as the following:
1. Make sure to put all the authors affiliation with the organization email.
2. Well written abstract (clear problem statement, objective/contribution, brief methodology, finding).
3. Clear and concise introduction (should start with a general overview, make sure no figures, tables and equations in the introduction).
4. Clear methodology explanation
         - Make sure all figures and tables are clear and referred in text before the tables/figures.
         - Make sure all the figures, tables are explained.
         -All figures and tables must have their caption, avoid figures from Internet although with citation
         -Numbering is correctly arranged.
         -Equations must be centered and numbered.
5. Results and Discussion
         -Make sure figures and tables explain the results accordingly.
6. Each paper must has an acknowledgement section.
7. References:
         -Make sure they are updated (at least 70% of references)
         -All references adhered the IEEE format.
         -All references are cited. Or cited references are in the reference list
         -Make sure each reference has the important information (year, page number, volume of journal) and accurate.
         -Thesis or Dissertation WEBSITES are not allowed as one of the references.
8. Number of Authors
         - The maximum number of authors is limited to 5 (started in Vol2 Issue 2).

Submission of manuscript
All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by our designated reviewers. We will provide feedback on your manuscript within 4 weeks for your undertaking before it is ready to be published. Submission of manuscript is through the MIJ submission system at http://myjms.mohe.gov.my/index.php/mij/

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
Declaring Conflicts of Interest and Funding Source
Authors should disclose their research funding sources, linkage, membership or relationships with organization or institution that might potentially influence the objectivity of a publication. The corresponding author is responsible for providing a declaration on behalf of all authors.
In case of authors with no conflict of interest, the corresponding author should explicitly state that in the article using the following sentence as for examples:
"The authors have no conflicts of interest to declare that are relevant to the content of this article."

"All authors certify that they have no affiliations with or involvement in any organization or entity with any financial interest or non-financial interest in the subject matter or materials discussed in this manuscript."

Declaration of Authors Contributions
MIJ requires that all authors take responsibility for the contents of the work submitted for review. The contributions of each author must be described in the accepted manuscript to ensure accountability.
Article Licensing and Copyright Policy

All the articles published in Vol.1-Issue1, Vol.1-Issue2, Vol.2-Issue1, Vol.2-Issue2 and Vol.3-Issue1 are licensed under a

Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0

All articles started from Vol.3-Issue2 and onward are copyrighted under the terms of
CreativeCommonsAttribution-ShareAlike4.0.

Similarity check
